Where do you ship?

We ship within Australia and to a large number of international countries.

Which carrier will deliver my order?

All UQ Shop deliveries are handled by Australia Post (AusPost).

When will my order be dispatched?

Orders are packed and dispatched twice a week (usually Tuesdays and Thursdays (AEST)), excluding Queensland public holidays.

During peak periods (including graduation and sale events), dispatch may take longer.

How much does shipping cost in Australia?
  • Free standard shipping (Australia-wide) on orders over $150 (unless otherwise stated).
  • Orders under $150 incur shipping fees calculated at checkout.
How long does delivery take?

Delivery times depend on your location and the AusPost service selected at checkout. As a guide, standard delivery is typically 5–7 business days after dispatch.

What happens if I’m not home when my parcel is delivered?

If no one is available at the delivery address when AusPost attempts delivery, your parcel will be delivered to your nearest Post Office or collection point for pickup.

Can I choose a collection point instead of home delivery?

In many cases, yes. You can nominate a preferred collection point through the AusPost app or website (where available).

Will I get tracking?

Yes. Once your order is dispatched, we’ll email you tracking details.

Do you ship internationally, and will I pay customs fees or tariffs?

Yes, we ship internationally via Australia Post (AusPost).

International orders may be subject to customs/quarantine checks, duties, taxes, tariffs, or other fees in the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient.

United States tariff update:

The United States has introduced new tariffs which may affect parcels delivered to the US. This may result in additional charges payable by the recipient and/or longer clearance times through US customs. Any duties, taxes, or tariffs are determined by US authorities and are outside UQ Shop’s control.

UQ Shop is not responsible for customs delays, holds, or fees, or for parcels rejected due to unpaid charges.

Returns & Refunds

What are my rights under Australian Consumer Law (ACL)?

UQ Shop complies with Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Do you offer refunds for change of mind?

No. We do not offer refunds for change of mind returns.

We may offer an exchange or store credit within 30 days of purchase, provided:

  • the item is unused/unworn, in original condition and packaging, with tags attached; and
  • proof of purchase is provided.
Are there any items that can’t be returned or exchanged for change of mind?

Yes. Change of mind returns are not accepted for: sale items, clearance items, personalised items, jewellery, or gift cards.

My item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect — what do I do?

Contact hello@uqshop.com.au within 14 days of delivery and include:

  • your order number
  • a description of the issue
  • photos (where relevant)

We will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund in line with ACL. Where the issue is confirmed, we will cover return postage or provide a prepaid return label.

How long do refunds take?

Once your return is received and inspected (or once a fault is confirmed), we’ll notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 3–5 business days. Your bank may take additional time to finalise the transaction.

Can I exchange an item?

Yes. Exchanges are available within 30 days (subject to the change of mind conditions above).
Exchanges are not available for gift cards/vouchers. If proof of purchase is not provided, any exchange is at our discretion and limited to the item’s current selling price.

What if my order was a gift from someone else?

If the item was purchased as a gift and shipped directly to you, contact hello@uqshop.com.au
and we’ll advise the available options for exchange, store credit, or refund (as applicable).

How do I lodge a return or exchange?

Email hello@uqshop.com.au with your order number and reason for return/exchange. If your request falls within this policy, we’ll provide a return/exchange form and instructions.
